How to upload a file

  1. Navigate to the entity you want to attach a file to (e.g. a world, lore entry, session, or quest).
  2. Look for the Uploads section on the detail page.
  3. Click Upload or the upload button.
  4. Select a file from your device.
  5. The file is uploaded and appears in the uploads section.

Uploaded files are stored securely. When you or another member views a file, a temporary signed link is generated. Files are not publicly accessible.

Who can upload and delete files

The person who uploaded a file can always delete their own uploads. Organisation editors and table GMs can delete any upload on entities they manage.

Storage limits by plan

Your total upload storage is determined by the organisation Owner's plan:

PlanStorage limit
FreeNone
Adventurer50 MB
GM200 MB
World Builder1 GB
Club5 GB

Storage is counted per organisation. The Free plan does not include file storage — upgrade to a paid plan to upload files. If you are approaching your storage limit, you can delete old uploads or upgrade your plan.

Note: Existing free-tier users who already have stored files will retain those files, but cannot upload new ones until they upgrade or reduce their usage.

See Billing and Plans for more about plans and upgrading.
